Common drywall problems we fix
- Holes — doorknobs, moving furniture, accidents
- Cracks — settling, stress at corners and over doorways
- Nail/screw pops — fasteners pushing through the surface
- Water stains & sagging — from past roof or plumbing leaks
- Damaged corners — dinged corner bead from traffic
Our repair process
- Assess. Confirm the cause (especially for water damage) so we’re not patching over an active problem.
- Patch. Cut clean, back the hole, and patch with the right method for the size.
- Tape & mud. Tape seams and apply joint compound in feathered coats.
- Sand & match. Sand smooth and match the surrounding texture.
- Prime. Leave it paint-ready — or paint to match.
What NJ homeowners should know
Many older Monmouth County homes have plaster as well as drywall, and humidity and past leaks leave their mark on ceilings. We work with both, and for any water-related damage we’ll always point you to the source first — patching over an unfixed leak just means doing it twice.
